I met Carol in March 1999.. I was working for Liz Claiborne Europe in Watford as the Systems Manager.. We were recruiting for a Helpdesk Analyst and Caroll had appied for the job.; She came for the interview and seemed to be very well prepared; smart, well groomed and with a folder containing her CV; that is until I askd her to do a written test.; I thought that she was going to pass out or run for the door. She diidn't...she gritted her teeth and completed the test and then apologised profusely for how badly she thought she had done; We had a good long chat during which it was clear to me that this was one of those special people who you immedtiately click with, someone that you know will be an important part of your life; someone that was meant to be part of your life. When we had finshed chatting (it wasn't really an interview after the 1st 5 minutes), I took Carol out to reception and said goodbye. I went back to my desk for a few minutes and then decided to go to the loo where I found Carol changing from her very smart interview outfit into Jeans and a Tshirt.; Friday's were casual dress at Europcar so Carol couldn't go back to the office in her interview outfit, what she didn't know and we hadn't told her prior to the interview was that is was also Casual Friday at Liz. We had a good giggle in the ladies loo ;-)

Needless to say she got the job despite her test results (they weren't very good but not everything can be measured in traditional ways).
